With a tough, rubberised casing, the SolarMonkey works from UV light so the stronger the sunlight - the better your solarmonkey will work. It has been field-tested in the Amazon, the Arctic, The Himalayas and the heart of Africa where solar strength is good and the product powered devices excellently. Because of the dreary UK weather, you will not get the same results here! And remember, if you're using the SolarMonkey whilst inside a room such as a conservatory, glass panes and some plastic sheets have a UV filter which will affect the power output of the SolarMonkey.

Ring Cyba-Lite Keyring Torch

When you drop your key in the grass and it's pitch dark you'll be glad of one of these. Unlike the cheap eBay equivalents these give a very bright light over a wide area. Of all the keyring LED torches we have tried these are far and away the best.

The are water resistant and have a very positve on and off switch. Push On from one side and pushh off again from the other. Can easily be operated with gloves on. Very solid and strong.
